I receive a new update from Honda early this morning indicating Honda will install automatic transmissions in some large bikes in 2010. The new trans will have three modes (2 auto and 1 manual). Can't wait to see if it will be on the wing and how it works. Any comments or thoughts from any one?

Details of Honda's all-new 2011 model Gold Wing are emerging, along with the news that it's likely to be released a lot earlier than planned. Australian MotorCyle News is reporting the new Wing will jump from 1800cc to 2000cc, and retain its horizontally-opposed six cylinder format but will have both twin overhead camshafts and four valves per cylinder, similar to the EVO6 concept (pictured with 2009 Gold Wing) it showed at the Tokyo MotorShow 2007.
